Matt Regan is the founder and owner of LCH Forensics. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Forensics and Digital Investigations from Champlain College, a National Center of Digital Forensics Academic Excellence designated by the U.S Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center. He has also earned multiple certifications in computer forensics and digital investigations, including the prestigious CFCE certification from the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS), and is a Cellebrite Certified Operator and Physical Analyst.

Matt has also served as a forensic examiner for the Northern California Computer Crimes Task Force (NC3TF), where he conducted forensically sound data acquisitions from hundreds of computers, mobile devices, and cloud-based providers, and analyzed valuable information critical to criminal investigations. As a court-certified expert in computer forensics and mobile device forensics, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to LCH Forensics, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality forensic services available.

In addition to his forensic work, Matt has over 21 years of experience in law enforcement. He served as a Deputy Sheriff for both the Colusa County Sheriff's Office (5 years) and the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office (14 years), where he worked in patrol and investigations as a Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault/Child Abuse Detective. He later served as a District Attorney Investigator for Sonoma County District Attorney's Office (3 years).
